Q. What are the residency classes?

A. Residency classes are choreographically focused and intense. Dancers will learn a piece of choreography over the three days and will have the opportunity to perform the piece in the first act of our main stage event, TAP ‘N TIME!

Q. What levels and ages can participate?

A. Classes are available for advanced beginner, intermediate, advanced and pre-professional dancers ages 8+. The festival is not appropriate for absolute beginners. For questions regarding placement, please email

Q. What is the Jam Session?

A. The Jam Session take place on the opening day of the festival. This is an opportunity to get to know the other dancers and share your passion for tap dance with the accompaniment of live music!

Q. What is the Student Showcase?

A. The Student Showcase is an opportunity for festival participants to share their talents. There will be a sign-up available in the waiting area during the festival. Acts are not limited to tap dancing, pieces should be limited to three minutes. Large groups, trios, duets and solos are welcome.
